The 2.5 release was a little rushed at the end as we could of kept finding things to tweak and add etc etc for quite a long time, but we decided to let the ZB loose, and with that comes the little things to fix.
We are well into the next update which hopefully will be the last for a little while. Here is what has already been completed so far: - All manufactures names will now appear in grid table - The cars file names are all changing so they stay in order: Year ####/Car ## / Round ## - All the cars will be having the rides heights spawn near the minimum 60mm (see pic.), this means they will drive better straight away, but as per a earlier release some conditions may make it spawn just under which means you will need to either unjust your suspension or ride height. - And of course more liveries... We hopefully will have a few more improvements to the models as well, but not saying just yet :)

This is the BASE MOD (no skins) for V8Scorsa for Assetto Corsa.
You will then need to go to the liveries download page and download a skin pack to add to the base mod. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Installation instructions (follow them) Step 1: You will need to remove the previous version of the mod as we have updated everything. Navigate into the following folder and deleting the following (be sure to keep a copy of any personal skins (inside the skins folder) (DELETE) assettocorsa\content\cars\supercars_ford (DELETE) assettocorsa\content\cars\supercars_holden (DELETE) assettocorsa\content\cars\supercars_nissan Step 2: Paste the contents of the zip file into the following folder (PASTE) :\Steam\SteamApps\common\assettocorsa (It will overwrite some of the old textures we had, located elsewhere) A special call out again to our newest team players RicardoG and Deane (naptic) for their 3DS max skills brought to the mod. Credits for the ORIGINAL BASE MOD being the Assetto Corsa conversion are to the following people, as without them we would not have been able to work or improve upon this mod, and we truly thank that team for allowing the current team to continue the development of these cars: "B375" models (VF, L33 & FGX), templates, sounds "Mach77" Sounds editing "RacingtechCZ" Physics, skins, Files assembly, Project coordinator "Terra21" some base skins and mental motivation to original team Head to the Download sections to get it... As we edge closer to the release of the 2.5 version of V8SCorsa 2018, the liveries download page has been overhauled. Feedback from numerous people like "why is there so many skins to download" or "can i grab it all rather than downloading each individual skin" , both very fair comments.
So this is the new format we will be adopting. the base mod will have 1x plain skin for each make. You then can go to the liveries download area and download the skins in years packs... grab all years or just the one you want. Once the 2.5 version is released we recommend deleting all the folders as Nigel has mapped a couple more areas on the VF that were previously un-paintable so we had to go back over the VF paint jobs and paint these areas for best results. Checkout the new liveries download area the ZB link is not active until after release, but you can view whats coming :) we are pleased to say that Deane (Naptic) has jumped onboard to help where he can, and he certainly has hit the ground running with proper colliders being made for all 4 available models. Deane is now going to look into doing LODs now. Thanks Deane for your contribution of time and talent to move this mod forward, we look forward to seeing you push your skills and the results, and of course welcome :).
A huge thanks needs to go to RicardoG for converting the ZB Commodore Model and then sharing with us to release as part of this mod.
We were pretty happy to get the model that was pretty much ready to go after some tweaks. We are working hard on tweaking the final textures etc as well as re-painting the ZB liveries that we already had painted onto the VF so far this year. We are keen to release this added model and will be doing a full version with all the 2018 liveries that were on the VF removed and replaced with the ZB. We are just as keen as everyone to get this update finished, and we are all working hard towards it. |
